Wahahahha...i love your battlepack pics valentin! Can I borrow to make a review, because my phototaking kinda sucks..lol

As compare with the comics ARC, lol, i think the CW repaint is much hotter, but i still like that shiny thing he wore on the arms as compare to CW version.

Thanks for sharing the review :)
I haven't had the time yet to release my troopers from the box.

I can promise you the taking-out-of-the-box process is pretty tough, unless you wanna rip the box apart!

Faie, no problemo. But do remember to adjust the size of the pics if you do not wish to use thumbnails.

Also take note that the heavy gunner's hand was detached from the arm, when I took pics of only the gattling gun as I did not want to remove the rubber twisty there.

Ah... it's quite easy to remove them from the box. Patience and sharp eyes are all you need. My internal packaging is still very intact, just without those rubber twisties.

Keke, Dranoel, I haven't reviewed this battlepack yet. :p
Wanted to, but couldn't find the time to seat down and do it. Maybe, when the CW gunship arrives, I will do both together.

Perhaps I should call it a "preview" instead
Your effort in providing us the detailed piece-by-piece pics is much appreciated... and now I am eagerly looking forward to your full review :D

a very good review of the battlepack.
now all the more to get it :D

btw, was at tampines mall yesterday and noted 10 new battlepacks. They were at the lowest rack. Looks like nobody has even notice about it and surprising no one no takers. Good news to those collectors, hurry! :)

I went to Tampines ToysRus on Sat morning and bagged the last pack that was on the shelf. I really did not think I would be able to find this at retail so boy was I happy. You can view the diorama I created out of the box packaging here:

Metro at Sengkang has more than 10 boxes of the Hunt for Grievous. At 20% discount storewide, they should cost just around S$48!

woah cool. I had thought that the Hunt for General Grevious was a toysRys exclusive so no other dept store would be getting them. When were you at the Metro Sengkang? Which mall is the metro in? Thanks, Paul

well, that's good news to all those who hv yet to lay their hands on them.

was at csc last sun, one of the shops was selling the item discreetly at sgd75.00. Apparently, the shop decided it is a super rare and much sought after item and decided to sell to the 'regulars' only at a hefty 75 bucks. can't imagine how much the non regulars would hv to pay.

though, i hv seen other stalls or shops selling, surprisingly.
perhaps, they were all waiting for a bull mkt ? :P

I can't remember the mall's name but its the one next to the Sengkang MRT Station. Metro is at Level 2. If you can't find it on the shelfs, ask the staff, especially the Toy's Dept Supervisor. The Supervisor is a very nice Malay guy. He sometimes keeps some of the exclusive items in the storeroom because he wants to prevent people from hoarding them. Nice move! Good for genuine collectors.

Although its a Toys R Us exclusive, Metro sometimes do bring in some of these items. Parallel imports? Not sure but sometime back, I did manage to get a Plo Koon Starfighter (the blue-coloured one) also from Metro Sengkang, although that is supposed to be a Target Exclusive. Got that for S$48, also at 20% discount. :)
