Hi,

Currently, I only really focus on collecting Star Wars Lightsabers.

I have

Master Replicas Force Fx Luke Skywalker ROTJ Lightsaber

Hasbro Force Fx Mace Windu Lightsaber

0.45 Master Replicas Lightsabers

Count Dooku ATOC
Darth Tyranus ROTS
Anakin Skywalker ROTS
Obi Wan Kenobi ATOC
Obi Wan Kenobi ROTS
Yoda ROTS
Darth Sidious European Exclusive Bright Chrome Limited Edition 1500 (2 Pieces)

This is my humble collection, nothing compared to some of you who have been collecting for years.

BTW can anyone tell me if these items retain their value over time?

I am doubtful for the 0.45 and FX light sabers. Unless it's a 1:1 MR or Icons light sabers then it's a different matter. But I agree that it would be great if what you said it's true for I have some Of the 0.45 and FX too

yep. But 1:1 lightsabers and expensive and way out of range. haha. But i think even the 0.45 and Fx will rise due to the Intro of the New The Phantom Menace 3D. Maybe not rise, but maybe at least retain their value.

Hey how about Gentle Giant mini busts? I am thinking of getting the slave leia Limited Edition 4200 pieces. What do you think?

GG busts, especially the earlier ones like Boba Fett, are more in demand. If we look at ebay this is especially so.

i can say that the value of 0.45 sabers has dropped since MR was no longer around; for indication, last time Simply Toys could sell 1 mini sabers for S$70 each, but now it drops to ~S$45-50.
i can feel that the hype for collecting replica sabers fades away (maybe only for myself after i almost completed MR 1:1 saber) maybe due to lack of advertisement from eFx (the company who take over the saber license from MR)

So i just keep all of my MR 1:1 and 0.45 sabers. i can't let them go

if u want to display ur 0.45 sabers, u better display it in a close case...i displayed my mini vader outside, and it's ruty now (the D ring)

Yeah true. I bought these scaled replica much later. I completed the whole collection. Price cheapest $35. Two pieces from Ebay USA plus shipping $51. The higher priced ones are the two exclusives Darth Maul Full Lightsaber and Qui-Gon Jinn, price $70 and $80. The most ex is AOTC Count Dooku for $130 from Ebay UK. I could save this at $40 from my friend who is clearing but I mistaken this for ROTS Darth Tyranus Lightsaber, thinking they are the same. Actually, AOTC Count Dooku and ROTS Darth Tyranus are two different lightsaber in two different box. No choice. Missed a good deal.
