The series will be set between Episode III and IV of the film saga and will cover the 20 years in the life of Luke Skywalker growing up. McCallum said there would be "a whole bunch of new characters" and the series would be "much more dramatic and darker." He added that it was unlikely any of the stars of the movies would be involved in the TV series.
A typical prime-time network TV show airs about 22 episodes in a season.
hehehe... will they film in Singapore? haha...

I wonder if SEJA can get a chance to guest star in one of the episodes.
hmm....
maybe lucasarts should make a competition and the winner(s) will get a significant screen time on one of the episodes.
that'd be cool huh

Personally I believe they should not concentrate on the main Star Wars cast although they can come in as guest roles, although it looks like different actors would be required.
The Star Wars universe is rich enough and can be made richer by exploring the various aspects of it, e.g. training of Jedi, training of Stormtroopers, a day in the life of a Storm trooper, how Darth Vader hunt down the remaining Jedi (DV is behind a mask), etc.
