feitonglong, sorry to disappoint you that Star Wars shop don't ship video materials and weapons such as lightsaber and blasters to overseas. We can try other websites to order.

pardon yoyo's ignorance. blu-ray is a form of storage format. if the original trilogy are not captured digitally and need to be digitally re-mastered, then would the storage format be limited by the initial quality of the film? In short, is source is so-so, then the storage would also be so-so. SO why pay for a so-so re-format?

I am not a movie geek but when the same movie played on DVD and Bluray, you can really felt the difference in clarity of the film. Just my two cents.

of cos, there is a difference between DVD and Blu-ray IF the source is already digitally captured and of certain high quality (especially the recent movies). Blu-ray would certainly enhance the quality.

however, for movies that were filmed in the 1970s, masteryoyo is not sure if Blu-ray can 'further enhance' them because the source is not as of high quality due to the limited technology at that time.

I wonder why they put it on blu ray if it is not improved. Maybe there are more scenes or deleted scenes.
