Denis Lawson is the uncle of Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel films

:x may be that why Ewan Mcgregor got the role. May be G.L thinks that Ewan will be his next lick charm :x

Ewan McGregor, in the August 2005 issue of Playboy magazine, said that Lawson advised him to turn down the role of Obi-Wan.
But that is very odd.
