What is your favourite Star Wars poster of all time ?

Mine , winning hands down , is the teaser poster for Star Wars Episode 1.

It's simplicity, it's portrayal of innocence and the foreboding evil , was the perfect embodiment of the heart of Star Wars , and there has not been another Star Wars poster that even comes close.

My favourite classic trilogy poster has to be the style B poster for The Empire Strikes Back .

Much as I love artist Drew Struzan's work, his theatrical release for EP1, 2 and 3 really leave me cold. I'm buying them just to complete my film poster collection, but the artwork does not excite me.

I think my least favourite poster is the teaser poster for EP3 . I mean, what is that ?

I loved the first poster so much that I bought the banner which is used for cinemas from evilbay.

Costed me close to $350.....ouch....but it is NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking about posters , many collectors have started taking note of Japanese Chirashi , which are these A4 sized mini posters distributed for free at Japanese subway stations and other places to publicise a movie or event.

Don Leow recently returned from Japan and gave me ( THANKS DON !!!! :D ) this beautiful chirashi publicising the Star Wars Science and Art Exhibition in Japan . The artwork is so beautiful and has to be seen to be believed .

i agree dan, infact is beyond words they print in good quality high gloss paper that are distributed for free, shld have grab more and give it to the folks back here...
