Clone Troopers and their blasters

how come the clone troopers have no holster to hold their blasters? I mean of course during training, deployment and battles they're gonna hold the weapons in their hands but other than occasions i mentioned above, do they have to hold the blasters in their hands all the time. When roll-calls, chow-time...when do those freakin' blasters go? I mean it is hard to board the gunship with just one hand....hazardous work-place.

The holsters are strapped to the weapons, I think they have some sort of internal storage place to their weapons. I've seen straps on their weapons, when they stand at attention.
