I'm a critic. And from my critic's point of view, the cops' uniform can't compare to a stormie's armor. Maybe they're jealous...?

Or the cops realized that stormies can totally own them just showing up in their armor, and get better benefits like what you said. Maybe the stormies can jump queues, get discounts... etc. etc... stay in a place for too long...? This pic says it all...
