That is, if you don't want to be confused by my rather unmemorizable username (even I can't memorize it, it's on a post-it note pasted against the corner of my laptop). Otherwise, just refer to me as AK, my usual Internet moniker.

I've come and gone around this forum a few times now, but only decided to join just yesterday since my promotional exams (I'm in MJC) are over.

I'm good friends with Sev-like, who strongly encouraged me to register (and even consider constructing a costume in the first place). We've done a few armour parties together already, completed our commander Pauldrons and Kamas.

I intend to post quite regularly in these forums so I can be in the know with regards to 501st Legion @ SG business, so I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could teach me how to start off around here.

Aside from Star Wars, I have interests in Japanese stuff, anime and manga, photography, wiriting and guitars. Additionally enjoy stock market stuff, toys and figurines (mostly to make dioramas) and steam/diesel train models.

Nice to meet everybody. Once again, remember, just call me Deviss or AK.

Actually, I just wanted to voice something... I notice a large majority of the official 501st Garrison are wearing Ep IV, V and VI armours only; I hardly ever see any Clones. Any particular reason why? A bit harder and more meticulous to get a Clone armour 501st-worthy, I suppose?

Also heard from Sev-like that commander Pauldrons and Kamas are pretty hard to get accepted into the 501st... what can be done, then, if I wanna costume as Deviss?
