Greetings!

I am (obviously) new around here, and would like to say hello. I've been a fan since I was in pri school, when my cousin first popped in the ANH LD (yes, an LD. those were the days.) and I was introduced to the awesome world...sorry, galaxy, of lightsabers that made the coolest noises and...sabers that made the coolest noises.

I was traumatized for quite a while when Obi-wan let himself be killed. took me about a year to figure the whole 'Force' thing out. (hey, I was 7) :P

What came next was novel after novel of EU. But. NS has done a great job of ERASING all my EU databanks! Holocrons destroyed! Rant! Rave!

To the cool people at SEJA, I hope to see you around. Long have I heard, from my underling, of a group of "crazy people doing star wars fights. *snort* " but I have never been about to seek you out.

So, that's it from me, I guess. Been working on a piece of crappy fanfic, but I doubt it will ever see the light of day.

LD... Laser Disc? Now thats a name I haven't heard in a long time... a long time. These days, LD could easily stand for Large Disc :P

LD, huh? I'm thinking of buying an LD player.......as a novelty item. Can get player cheap at Cash Converters or Sungei Road. Any chance I might purchase ANH LD from you? But seriously, if I were in possession of it, I will NEVER let it go(unless for a million US dollars, now that's a different story!)

My era skipped over the LD format; from VHS jump over to VCD then DVD formats..........

Heehee.....I also own 2 of the OT in LD; pity my house's LD/VCD Player hit the store room not too long ago after my dad gotten a DVD "recorder". Am looking to complete the set one day but am really picky about the cover, I want the 1st or 2nd (aka early 1990s?) edition ones to fit the rest (so no Stormtrooper-Vader-Yoda cover ones for me!)

Haha, Haldir, The date on the cover on my ANH reads 1992. The one with zillions of X-Wings in the background. Oh man. 1992. That's so long ago. I was still running around the playground screaming, I think. Playgrounds with SAND in them. =P
