Dude why did ya remove the plastic grip ? Make it much harder to sell. Good luck anyway.

It was melting! The PVC actually degrades.

Ya didn't know. Seldom contact with PVC items so didn't know. But as long the inner circuits still fully functional, it still makes a perfect gift for a kid who always wants a saber:)

Sadly it can't. As Hasbro saw it deem fit to gum it to the hilt with adhesive (feels abit like resin)...it can't be reattached. Took me alot of time to carefully clear it. Hence the hilt is still shiny:P

Maybe sell to kids easier. But collectors might not want it..

Yah definitely. Past sabers i sold in 100% condition were all to parents buying for kids.

Collectors only want the MR sabers...to them Hasbro sabers are Toys~ haha.

I got half Mr sabers half hasbro. Makes me a hybrid? Haha. But quality is equal in terms of hasbro fx and master replicas fx

Haha i guess that makes you a non fussy collector. :P

Anyways i bet some of the collectors will wanna differ with you about the quality...dunno why some of them are so hard-on insisting the MR replicas are superior!! I had my fair share of frustration with such people..who can't leave my post alone insisting on the MR sabers and hijacking the thread.

End of the day i am just clearing my stuff to people who will really appreciate it and at least give me something back in return. They arent really costly judging from toys nowadays costing insane prices...(small 6 inch figurines of some shows costing 50 to 70ish and more)

No offense to collectors but just keep your minds to yourselves and let people deal peacefully. End of the day its the buyer who chooses not your product costing twice the amount of what i'm offering which decides it. A toy is a toy! all M.I.C.! Just like the Apple.

OK pardon my rant. But Any parents looking for an excellent condition saber for your little star wars fan to wield and play jedi vs sith do look me up. I like to keep my things in good condition but sadly in this case i removed the flaw meticulously so that you wont get your palms sticky with melted plastic.

haha true. Do not really see a difference in quality between MR and Hasbro Force Fx Lightsabers. Maybe Master Replicas has closed down and stopped all production, making it all the more rare and harder to get. However, Hasbro is produced later and therefore probably using better technology of the current age. Totally depends, perhaps Master Replicas Has a better reputation of producing higher quality goods than Hasbro which is a children toys brand.

and yeah

Master Replicas Sounds a lot cooler than hasbro. haha

Btw, I have Master Replicas Force fx Anakin Skywalker ROTS and Luke Skywalker ROTJ, as well as Hasbro Luke Skywalker Removable Blade Force Fx Lightsaber. Any Idea how much they are worth?

Not sure. My prices are based upon how i feel they are worth. So i'm probably the worst person you can ask about price estimation haha..

Best you could do is do abit or research around here.

Else just head to the shops and ask.

I know MR should be worth more as they are out of production but i'm sure buyers will sure lowball your price as they do not care if its MR or slave replicas as long they get the item at a gd price they will be happy. Only, as you said, collectors will be willing to pay a hefty sum for a MR. I've seen MRs selling for 300ish. But think about how long its been in a box...electronics do degrade too....so think about it.
