DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) Movie
Right now I am waiting excitedly for the upcoming DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE (2006) movie. DOA: Dead or Alive is a martial arts film directed by Corey Yuen slated for release on August 25, 2006. It is very loosely based on the Tecmo/Team Ninja fighting game Dead or Alive.
The film centers on five female fighters in a competition to the death on an exotic island.
Woohoo! It's gonna be a hot film!
Here's a leaked-out teaser trailer.

Updates
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/comm ... yid=349402
Jaime Pressly is Tina Armstrong, who is an American wrestler-aspiring model in the video game series
Sarah Carter is Helena Douglas, an opera singer in the "Dead Or Alive 2" game whose father runs the tournament.
Devon Aoki is Kasumi, a skilled ninja in all of the "DOA" games who runs away to fight in the tournament
Natassia Malthe is Ayane, Kasumi's half-sister from the "DOA 2" game on, who has been sent by their clan to exact revenge
*IMO this pic is hot*
Holly Valance is Christie Allen, the bad-girl assassin from the "DOA 3" video game.
*Oh yes Holly Valance!!!*
And yes, there will be volleyball (as in the non-fighting game, "Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball").
*Hell YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! w00t!!!*
Pressly representing in red, white and blue.
Drool factor!!!
But i doubt the story is gonna be nice...most probably a B rating...

Geez almost posting a heavy content and click wrongly while eating... sheetssssssssssss.... have to redo..... ARGHHGHHGH
In US they rate this PG-13. Nothing explict from my point of view.
In fact I can't stand it when the director goes through so much effort in every scene, and the outcome was some idiotic censorship board cut here and chop there. As a viewer, I have a sense of 'incompleteness' after watching. Besides, I don't need any protection from you guys, I know you guys wanna protect us from violence and stuff, but I know how to differentiate, so no need such protection etc.
