ya but I read the article on the link & it says there's a button to light up the LED. By looking at the pic, not possible leh. Easier for the train to just paste the lightsaber stickers!

But from the second pic, I can clearly see they are just stickers pasted on stainless steel bars on MRT. Where can they put the LEDs? Unless they change all the bars to plastic tubes with LED inside.

Anyway, the Japanese did this to promote "Star Wars Blu Ray edition"
Did Singapore or 501st had any promotions for the Blu Ray released??

I don't think it could light up. It look more like a sticker lightsaber rather than LED.
I cant imagine having 6 cabins, lots of grab pole all
with LEDs. Grab poles are meant to be strong and I don't think
people can hold on to LED. What if the train stop in
an emergency brake? Worst case if the LED shattered..

If they use heavy duty polycarbonate then it won't be a problem, the material is cheap and can hold a lot of weight, and take a beating
