Farewell and good bye; a commitment to give up sw altogether

Post by masteryoyo » Wed Aug 10, 2011 5:46 pm

Dear forumers,

Having grown-up in the 70's and watching the entire sw series, masteryoyo has always been an avid sw fan. From the very first vintage sets such as the Kenner landspeeder and death star to the more recent Hasbro BMF and ATTE, masteryoyo has been and is a proud owner of some of these toys. With a collection of a few hundred action figures, dozens of replicas and a small library of sw related reference books, masteryoyo takes great pride to be part of the sw legacy

The day after this year's National Day is a very significant day for Masteryoyo. This is because masteryoy has finally decided to stop collecting and buying sw stuff. It is time to move on in life. Masteryoyo does not wish to cling on to this childhood hobby/fantasy any longer but has taken the path to grow in a different direction in life. This little note will serve to strengthen masteryoyo's resolve. In additiion, as a testament of masteryoyo's determination to give up sw altogether. However, sw will alway remain a very special part of masteryoyo's life.

Farewell and good bye, my fellow collectors. May the Force be with you all.

Cheers,
masteryoyo

PS: This story has a very happy ending. How would your story pen out? Cheers! :D :D :D

Very sad to see our noble Master Yoyo leaving our community. Though I may not met you before, it's a great pleasure to have your company in the forum. Just hope to know, what path are you going to. If it is a much better path, maybe some day I might follow you.

Dear Gundam_Skywalker,

Thanks for the kind words. Masteryoyo will still be an observer in the sw community and a reader/supporter of starwars.sg. Just that masteryoyo does not wish to remain a collector and buyer.

One does not have to possess something in order to enjoy it :D

Good luck, pal!

Dear GetzJedi,

Good try!. Masteryoyo will continue to support our costumers from afar. No donning of any costumes himself, hahah. :D
