Also was your "TIE Fighter"'s hyperdrive unit functioning at -10 seconds before the collision? Sometimes a malfunctioned component can really screw up your co-ordinated jump to light speed!GetzJedi wrote:The damages are attracting lotsa attention... Hee hee... I'll leave them there...
The Star Destroyer only sustained minor scratches and dents from my bump... Damn! Will need another attack against it...

Most people would mod their car so that it looks more powerful and smooth. They add extra exhausts, lower the car, change suspensions, change to xenon lights but you add battle damage to your car!?!?!?!
DUDE!!! THAT IS SO COOL!!!!
First, the work is sooooooooo good! You can hardly see the seams where the battle damage are attached.
Then, the lights and the exposed wiring!?!?! It just doesn't get any better than that!
Come on out with it - how many heads have you been turning with that ride of yours!
If someone is honking and flashing his headlights at you on the street and waving madly in the car - that's me!!!

Fortunately, the big 'hole' wasn't too deep, so with some putty, I've kept the rain out!
Thanks for the compliments, Gandalf! Heads had been turning, esp in the night when my cockpit lights are switched on... Might end up causing an accident one day... Choy!

I hav recently added a ceiling-mounted 7" LCD display and a DVD player in my vessel, er i mean, my vehicle ...
The player can play DVD, VCD, CD songs, MP3 and radio. It also has auxiliary video/audio-in, so it can take in a secondary player or even digital TV tuner.
The LCD screen has 2 video-in, so it can also accept a game console or a GPS (Global Positioning System).
With a truely enclosed surround-sound environment, i can now enjoy watching SW in the comfort of my little ICE (in-car entertainment).

Is that legal in S'pore? The Malaysian Transport Ministry outlawed it, unless its installed towards the back of the vehicle and can only be viewed by passengers in the back seats...Dr EMH wrote:I hav recently added a ceiling-mounted 7" LCD display and a DVD player in my vessel, er i mean, my vehicle ...
Installation of I.C.E. (In-Car Entertainment) is legal in S'p, include GPS, TV tuner, etc. Drivers are allowed to use GPS satellite for direction of roads, hence the LCD display is allowed to be installed at driver's front panel for easy access. The rules are governed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in S'p at http://www.lta.gov.sg
Many public transports in S'p, include bus and taxi, have already installed I.C.E ... there is also a special TV channel called "TV Mobile" to cater for this mobile audience market. The digital TV tuner which I intend to install next will be able to receive Ch.5, Ch.8, ChannelNewsAsia, and TV Mobile, but quite pricey at S$700.
My bro who's working in KL told me that installation of I.C.E is prohibited in M'sia for ALL cars (except for 7-seater MPV), even if it's installed at the centre for back passengers ... that's why my bro can't install I.C.E in his car.
