Looking for something like liquid/spray hardener

Post by ant » Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:29 pm

Hi guys,
I am searching for some kind of "liquid/spray" or anything that is able to help to harden some thing soft, like a piece of cloth. To have the cloth stay put in the position that i set it before dry up.

Any guys had any experience? Pls help me!

:)

Clear spray ? Or maybe dipping the cloth in starch ? Hair spray might do the trick too but it's expensive and would not hold heavy cloth material . If my suggestions doesn't do squat, then maybe you can try asking the people over at http://www.procustomizers.com/ ? They have many well-known customizers over there .

Actually i think i will be applying the hardener on plastic instead. Like the grocery bags kind of plastic. I was thinking of using pva glue but dont think it will be strong, starch is a good idea if i can do it on cloth.

oh.. interesting link u gave.

Saying that it harden/can stick a lot of materials can be like rock. Except it dont stick for plastic..

Anybody tried this paverpol before?
