maybe good idea to do a costume group interview for them..that will be wonderful addition to our monthly interview forum

You read our minds , Don ! LOL . I must say great minds think alike

In fact , we have already had made plans to feature the costumers in a series of articles at www.starwars.sg . I promise you it will be a fascinating look behind the scenes of this truly interesting aspect of Star Wars fandom , and we will be exploring the passion that drives our costumer friends in their hobby.

GetzJedi has been great in facilitating our indepth foray into the world of Star Wars costuming , so do watch out for the series.... starting soon ! :D

It's been a pleasure but I'm just a rookie compared to my buddies who's been at it for years... Hope that you'll benefit much from meeting them later today...

Got hooked to it by my cousin - comic books and another cousin - CCG cards in 1998 or so .

Now ive beat them hands down in star wars haha ...
they find ROTS lame but i beg to differ

my first movie on big screens has to be ROTS haha
and to make it more historic, i watched it on opening night and i slept whenever it was anakin-padme's scene ( I just returned from a camp )

the following week i watched ROTS again. Sadly i had to endure through the mushy scenes (not including obiwan saying he loves anakin)

my first movie would be Ep4,5,6 or was it ep1 first... not sure.. then came AOTC

my ep1 was pirated at first, but now i own all original vcds except ROTS (pirated from batam)

will get the full dvd in future.. :)

i was annoyed in ep1 for the distance of the story line in the original trilogy, but AOTC was pretty good with clones .

I love clones!
I love vader!!
I love star wars!!!

After all these years, I still love Clones

Eeerrr...didn't know there's an intro thread here...thought the 'Jedi or Sith' thread is for that purpose...

Anyway never hurts to 'announce' one's arrival again

I'm from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia and have been into sci-fi since my teens. Quite a few of the members here know me from other forums, some know me under a different ID.

I'm into anything Star Wars, but my focus is with the lightsaber.

I've spent the last few years immersed in the 'tech' of lightsabers and everything about it, from how they were first made, the exact materials and parts used, to how one can make a custom lightsaber using items found around us everyday. 8-)

Apart from Star Wars, I'm also into Star Trek, Stargate, Matrix, Terminator, Babylon 5, Aliens (the movies), Battlestar Galactica, and numerous other Sci Fi & Fantasy genres. As for TV series I’m into into Farscape, Dark Angel, Alias, CSI, 4400, Mutant X, Smallville, and anything strange and out of this world :D

Will be in Singapore this December for the AOSW exhibition, and looking forward to appearing with the Singapore SW costumers.

In the meantime, looking forward to interacting with all of you here! ;)

HS Lim
Got hooked on Star Wars when I first watched it in 1981 in Prince Theatre.
I am a general scifi fan
I have almost all the Star Wars novels, exception being the Clone Wars stories.
I have plenty of Star Wars comics too.
I have Star Wars toys, my favourite are the Lego ones.
I have lots of SW bookmarks somewhere.
I found the idea of the Force fascinating since I am interested in the paranormal too.
Find, fix, finish
