To our Star Trek friends.... Our condolences

To our dear Star Trek friends on this message board,

Count Dooku told me that James Doohan, who played Scotty, died earlier today ..... what a terrible loss that is to the entire Star Trek community , as well as to Hollywood as a whole.

It's always sad to hear such news. It must feel like the passing away of an old friend.

Our condolences to you all.

I liked what someone on the www.startrek.com.sg forum said.... that when a star goes supernova, it shines even brigher

Is it true they are sending his ashes up to space ?

" Houston-based Space Services Inc., which specializes in space memorials, plans to send a few grams of Doohan's ashes aboard a rocket later this year. The remains, which will be sealed in an aluminum capsule, will eventually burn up when they re-enter Earth's atmosphere."

Our condolences to the family and friends of James Doohan, a.k.a. Captain Montgomery Scott, Chief Engineer of U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, from the original Star Trek series. May he rest in peace ....
