Off topic : Lol i found a starwars.sg member younger than both of us.... he is zhengjiez. He looked like he was about 12~13 when i met him.darthkimmy wrote:lol! Yay. I'm still the youngest...
On-topic : My mom and sister watched the mamma mia musical too but they both told me that the movie was better than the musical o.o
Anyway, i've already seen the movie 3 times and i can't help laughing everytime i watch it lol the jokes are really funny.
To be honest I find Across the Universe a better movie than Mamma Mia because the transitions from normal dialogues to song numbers are smoother.
Also because in ATU the songs are rewritten in such a way that it really suits the event happening on screen and also the character singing it.

Amen to that. That it also hit you with a dose of psychedelic retro doesn't hurt. Mamma Mia was good, granted, but it harkens back to a more blanched side of those years.assjedi wrote:To be honest I find Across the Universe a better movie than Mamma Mia because the transitions from normal dialogues to song numbers are smoother.
Not to say you can't enjoy it, of course, but, meep, just my 2 credits.
Star Wars Disco Theme
Talk about disco! fuhhh!
How about that Star Wars theme song ala Disco style by the Cantina Band, huh?
Anyone worth his salt as a SW fan should know this.....it was famous back in the 70s. Check out the electric guitar distortion playing the Force theme(double stopping) in the middle..........really rocks

"Size matters not.Look at me.Judge me by my size,do you?Hmm? And well you should not.For my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is.Life creates it,makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us.Luminous beings are we,not this crude matter..."
