My Sister's Birthday Pistol Shoot

Post by TD 6325 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 9:53 pm

Hey All,

In celebration of my younger sister's birthday today, she's 34. :) We made her wish to do everything extreme come true...sorta.

In the morning, we hit Sentosa to tryout the luge and skylift. Did that 3 times each...it was interesting...especially when while we were on the skylift, it started to rain...heavily. :)

Here's the view from the skylift:

That done and drenched wet, we hit Vivocity for a quick lunch at Sushi Tei before heading for the main event of the day; the Pistol and Bolt Action Shoot. :) That's right sports fans, we were goin for a real steel shoot. :D

Here's what we opted for:

From the top to the bottom:-
1. Beretta 92F
2. H&K USP
3. Glock 17
4. Sig Sauer 226
5. Browning Hi-Power

Ammo used was 200 rounds of 9mm +P manstoppers:

Safety briefing by our host Marcus, former Army operator and Police teamer:

Marcus was great, very helpful, patient and informative...helped out my sister alot with her queries and all. Marcus, if you read this, gracias bro!

Malik, another SGC employee, was our photographer and videographer...and I will post his pics up once he emails em to me. Pics posted were taken with my Cellcam. ;)

More to come...

Stay safe,

Tim.

More pics...

My sister loved the Beretta...went thru most of her rounds with it after experimenting with the rest. :)

I've always loved the Beretta, but am liking the Glock 17 and the USP after firing em. ;)

And the vids I promised...just a few seconds worth. This was taken at the very first firing of the day, 10rds per mag familiarization. Notice my sis's shock at the first round...still she shot well that day...very well. :lol

Birthday Shoot

Enjoy,
