Not working properly

Post by Darsha Assant » Tue Jan 23, 2007 7:35 pm

Ok. I don't know where to post this so i just posted it here...

There's some problem wth my account. It doesn't stay logged in even though i tick the 'log me in everytime' button. This results in me having to log in always. The problem started this month or so which explains why I haven't been around much. :P Cos I don't receive some notifications.

Can this be rectified please?

I don't know which browser you're using but I encountered the same problem with Internet Explorer. After switching to FireFox, that problem's gone :)

Did any patches installed recently??? Which version of IE you are using?
My Internet Explorer is serving me well. I have both version running on 2 different laptop. One is Version 6 and the other is Version 7.

Was using IE 6. If I delete cookies, the problem goes away. However, the problem came back after 2-3 weeks.

If I keep deleting cookies, I'll get logged out of other forums and have to spend time logging into them all over again which isn't a viable solution in the long run.

Hence I decided to switch to FireFox to view starwars.sg. Has been 'so far so good' for months already :)

For this, you need to update your Profile and set your Preferences for "Always notify me of replies" to "Yes".

Done. Lets see what happens from now on. I did get a notification to your post in this thread though.
