I have a weird idea... maybe it's a conspiracy by the higher-ups to irritate us or they just do it out of sheer enjoyment. Or some guy in the power station accidentally spilled coffee onto the machinery.

Blackout Day?
I don't really think so as Singaporeans these days are so modern that they need the computer to handle business' or family problems or stuff like that.

I don't think we should have a blackout day ... but maybe a ... similar event?

Haha, whoops. Let's just blame it on rats, they're everywhere, even somewhere in your house, I bet. (every flat has 'em, don't try telling me they don't)

Heehee...you all got keep Candles and Torchlights in the house or not?

Seriously, I haven't had a Blackout in my block ever since I moved in 12 years ago. A couple of Power Trips here and there when any of the Electrical Appliances "misbehaved" but no Blackout.

The only "Blackout" my house had was a few weeks ago when the Kitchen Light Switch choose to let the Electricity flow out of it onto the plastic casing. Had to use Candles to light up the Kitchen and toilet at night for a few days till the Switch Casing was changed completely.

we r all lucky living in singapore...

in my hometown in Sumatra, blackout happens frequently like 4 times weekly and the blackout not only happen 1 or 2 hrs, it can be up 2 6 hrs or worst 1 whole day...and the most irritating part is it mostly happen in the nite where people want to sleep, the weather's so hot and humid and if u open the window , all the "chopper" will drain ur blood... hahahah

I'm not keeping mozzies, I'm housing a horde of ants and one cockroach (xiao3 qiang2?!) At least most of the blackouts happen in daytime, so sometimes we never realize it unless we try to use the computer, the TV or the fridge. It's when the blackouts are at night then do we notice the blackout is there.
