RiSE is a small six-legged robot that climbs vertical terrain such as walls, trees and fences. RiSE's feet have claws, micro-claws or sticky material, depending on the climbing surface. RiSE changes posture to conform to the curvature of the climbing surface and a fixed tail helps RiSE balance on steep ascents. RiSE is about 0.25 m long, weighs 2 kg, and travels 0.3 m/s.
This one probably is some time ago.

This robot just remains me of AT-TE...six legged! hahaha

Boston Dynamics has created a large quadruped robot intended for carrying infantry supplies. It looks impressive cruising over snow, rocks, mud, gravel, etc. using a weird dog/deer gait, and it even manages to stay upright after being kicked, but luckily it's so damn noisy it won't be able to sneak up on you and your family when it realises that humans make better batteries than energiser.
Reminds me of AT-AT..but more flexible.
