Lightsaber welding knights are becoming out of fashion. I guess Palpatine prefers blaster welding soldiers of the future instead.

but if u clone anakin, won't the clone will have his force powers too, that'll be far more better compare to gun welding mandalorian clones.

2 possible theories
1. His clones may be as stubborn as him no matter how dependent the Kaminoans make him
2. Its just a movie, so Lucas and his team makes all the decisions, and we just watch the movie

Good idea ... perhaps they can clone more Palpatine, then there would be many warlords and emperors to fight among themselves, and leave the poor jedi alone ...

Well if you have read the Dark Empire series from Dark Horse Comics, Palpatine actually have clones of himself. That was what he told Luke who was VERY SUPRISED that Palpatine actually survived the explosion of the 2nd Death Star during the Battle of Endor.

Not possible as qualified in the books that

1. Palpatine needs to transfer his being into the young CLONE BODY
2. As soon as it is done the evilness of the dark force power quite quickly consume the body and it starts to degenerate again.

So you see, wickness sucks. On the contrary, see how cute Yoda is after living with the same body for 800 years.

I read from somewhere, technically we can live up to 1,200 years, with DNA resequencing.

Better if resequencing WILL be done to taxes & bills, illnesses & diseases, madness & dysfuntions, age & deterioration etc etc etc.
Then I wouldn't mind a cake lighted with 1200 candles.

We use big candles to represent 10 years right?
By then we will have bigger candles to represent 100 years and a bigger candle then the 100 year one to represent 1000 years
