If you are referring to 3 3/12 figures, I think it was released on POTJ cards. IIRC, I've only taken notice in ESB after the figure was released.

When I first heard that EP1 was to be called The Phantom Menace , I was so turned off by it because it was sooooooo unlike the classic trilogy film titles. I thought Lucas had lost it .
