okie folks, i think it's just a case of mis-interpretation of each other's postings... but hey, it certainly is one cool item to have in a Star Wars fan's collection :P for those of you who bought/built costumes, just curious to find out if you also get mannequins and dress them up as display pieces...

cos such a pose would require additional articulation (read "extra production cost") in producing the toy :lol: I watch the movie again this morning, and noticed that the cuffs were in that upper position around shoulder-height, throughout the operation. Only in the scene when the table was rotated ...

The good thing is they did get James Earl Jones again to be the voice for Vader, so that provides consistency across Episodes 4,5,6 But I agree with you that at the moment in the movie, it took a bit of getting used to... cos as Vader rose from the table, I still pictu...
